South Africa has announced its 15-man squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and the USA, with Aiden Markram as the captain.
The team will benefit from Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, and the promising Tristan Stubbs as their expert batters. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will lead the pace attack, supported by Marco Jansen and Gerald Coetzee.
The squad also includes three front-line spinners: Bjorn Fortuin, Keshav Maharaj, and Tabraiz Shamsi. Additionally, the team has selected two uncapped T20I players – batter Ryan Rickelton and fast bowler Ottniel Baartman.

South Africa will face Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal, and Sri Lanka in Group D. Their first match will be against Sri Lanka in New York on June 3.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Super Eight phase. The top two teams from each Super Eight group will then progress to the semifinals, with the final on June 29th.
