Kane Williamson will lead the Black Caps at a fourth T20 World Cup and will be joined by Devon Conway, Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, Mark Chapman, Phillips, Ravindra, and Bracewell in the batting ranks.
It has been decided that Tim Seifert will not be included in the team as a specialist wicketkeeper for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Instead, the wicketkeeping duties will be shared by Devon Conway, who is still recovering from a thumb injury he sustained while playing against Australia in February, and Glenn Phillips. Henry and Ravindra will make their T20 World Cup debuts for New Zealand in the West Indies and United States, respectively. Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi will reunite as the spin twins. Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, and Tim Southee are expected to be three of the four seamers representing New Zealand in the T20 World Cup for the third time in a row.

Williamson will be playing in his sixth T20 World Cup, having first attended one in 2012, while Southee, the world’s leading wicket-taker in T20 internationals, will be playing in his seventh, having first gone in 2010.
The Black Caps will begin their campaign against Afghanistan on June 8. Group C also includes the West Indies, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Super Eight phase. The top two teams from each Super Eight group will then progress to the semifinals, with the final taking place on June 29th.
The New Zealand cricket team has decided to wear their traditional teal color jersey in the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup. The team has ditched their current black jersey and turned back the clock to the previous teal color, which they used to wear in the past.

Black Caps will wear retro teal strip from 1999 for the Twenty20 World Cup 2024.
Opener Finn Allen was born the same year the strip was first worn.
The teal was also worn in 2000 when the Black Caps won the ICC KnockOut in Kenya.
